The first Salon Cielo® may have opened in 2001, but the vision began in the United Kingdom in the 1960's. That's where Ann Ratner - hairdresser, native Brit and Salon Cielo® founder-- first realized how important it was to feel like her fellow Stylists were not just colleagues, but family members. And so, when she opened the first Salon Cielo® on Connecticut Avenue in Washington D.C. in 2001 she did more than open a salon. She started a family.
