Unum Voluntary Benefits:   If you choose to participate in the following benefits, you will actually own the policy and can continue participating even if you leave the employment of Ratner Companies.  Ratner Companies offers the convenience of payroll deductions for all Unum benefits.  Enrollment is limited to the annual Open Enrollment period. 

Unum Short Term Disability Insurance:  Disability Insurance can help replace a portion of your salary during a covered disability.  Pre-existing limits apply, and as long as required premiums are paid when due, the policy is guaranteed renewable until your 72nd birthday.

Unum Whole Life Insurance:  Provide added financial protection with this interest-sensitive policy in the event of your death, but it will also build cash value that you can utilize while you are still alive.  The program also provides for additional benefits such as Spouse and Children Coverage, Waiver of Premium or an Accidental Death Benefit.

Unum Accident Insurance:  The reality is, accidents do happen and this plan offers a wide range of injuries and accident-related expenses such as hospitalization, intensive care, physical therapy and transportation.  Choose to also cover your spouse and children.  The plan also offers an optional rider for hospitalization due to sickness.

Unum Critical Illness Insurance: Critical Illness Insurance will pay a lump sum benefit to you upon your diagnosis – to use as you see fit.  The plan pays upon first diagnosis for Heart Attack, Stroke, Cancer (enhanced rider), Coronary Artery Bypass, among others.
